What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Going out for a curry. I shall have my usual tikka paneer starter then I will share achari paneer, mixed Indian veg bhuna, rice & naan plus wine

Summer food! Yay! Have a weekend of lovely food lined up:

Tonight: Spanish omelette using baby spuds, with salad and cous cous

Tomorrow: Quesadilla, using my own recipe. Mashed kidney beans, fresh toms/coriander/hot chillis/lime juice/garlic, some hot pepper sauce, and grated cheese. Will have with salad and possibly couscous again, with fresh lime/coriander int couscous. Oh my god - sooooo looking forward to this

Sunday: not QUITE summer food, but I found a full jar of harissa in me fridge, and the fella's picking up another big bag of dried chickpeas today, so it's veggie tagine, with courgettes, peppers, aubergine, more fresh coriander too, and plain couscous.

Fuck me, I LOVE food

Also - the free case of wine I got for changing utility suppliers got delivered today, wahey!! So lots of wiiiine too

Jumbo scampi and gorgeous chips with PEAS!!!

They're probably shit and totally unethical but I CBA to cook tonight - it's a-open-a-bag-and-stick-it-in-the-oven-tea

I was massively disappointed with McCains gorgeous chips. Almost cried. Would still eat your dinner though

I've now definitely eaten everything in the house so tonight it's going to be the mince salad I've been avoiding for so long, topped with a bit of melted cheese. With some Heinz beef broth to dip it in.

Love Heniz beef broth

Today is same as yesterday: iceberg lettuce, beef tomato, sliced cucumber, boiled egg, crumbly cooked ham, coleslaw, potato salad, beetroot, tinned red salmon, mature cheddar with olive oil and balsamic. Sprinklings of bran all over to pretend this kitchen sink salad is healthy.

Stirfry and rice last night was nice, but not sure about tonight, maybe quiche, broccoli and er chips :D
Ended up having a curry :) peshawari nan, chicken tikka, some prawn thing ŵith peppers and lamb and pumpkin something.
Now I want a curry and a burger! I want all your foods :hmm: :D

Ooh rbubish says yes to curry *does little dance*

Weird quiche tea tomorrow :D

Making curry or buying one? I am in a real mood for a curry meal but want a Khan's really :hmm:

Hippy food ;)

:D

I fear you'll have the last laugh as I drown in baconnaise and pizza slime any day soon. FROM NEXT WEEK. I. Am going to be HEALTHY. I'll be relying on you to help me through this unchartered territory :)

I'll be having stuff like tuna without mayo wrapped in brown bread with a little stick through it. A bowl of lettuce. Falalafals rolled in powdered aubergine and served with a giant, unpeeled butternut squash. That sort of thing :)

I have no idea what Khans is :)

BUT! I'm going for a curry tonight! Mate's b'day. 40th. Shit. Getting old :(

Here: :D

I'm going for the Murgh Chicken Tikka Masala Chilli Masala because it's got the longest name therefore must be full of excellence

Anyone know what Murgh is btw? :hmm:

Ok. Seems like Murgh is Chicken. So they're doubling up the word Chicken as well as the word Masala. This dish isn't actually as long-named as it makes itself out to be is it. It's probably shit, they just give it an extra long name to make more people buy it.

Now what? :hmm:

I'm off for a curry for a friends birthday this evening too.
I've already pre-ordered and I'll be having achari paneer, mixed Indian vegetable bhuna, rice and a chapati
