What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Pork chops marinated in honey mustard soy sauce garlic chili
Jersey potatoes with butter n parsley
Sautéed leeks

Have taken out the leftovers from the freezer of the last curry we got. Bought some mixed pakoras/bhajis etc, and have some garlic pickle int fridge. Will make faux pilau rice with long grain white simmered with turmeric

Badgers just threw together a tea of halloumi, lettuce, spinach, bratwurst and coleslaw.
Stuff that needs using up.
It was delicious. :)

Due to a miscommunication on the KP front the dinner Plans changed from the tradition Friday fish to:
One day past the use by date sausages with mashed spuds and red cabbage cooked with caramelised onions, black garlic and balsamic sauce.

If I don't post tomorrow then we know the sausages were definitely off...

Pork chops with a mushroom sauce, mash and peas.
Which is my daughters idea of food hell, almost (apart from the pork)...although she said she was going to try a mushroom again after reading a leaflet about how good they are for you in the GP's surgery yesterday :D

Mash with mushroom sauce would be my boy's idea of food hell too :D

Beef massaman curry for us tonight (and something else for the boy )

Last night was pasta with a asparagus, mushroom, sherry and balsamic sauce.

Chicken marinated overnight for tonight's jerk chicken and rice + pea.

Veg chilli made with lentils and three different types of beans. Simmering away on the hob now and smelling lush. :)

Vegetable fried rice.

I did mean to put two fried eggs on top of it. However, just as I got the first of them out of the frying pan I managed to touch the pan's red-hot edge, flinched and pinged the egg right out of the pan and down the side of the cooker. So, I had one egg and a load of cleaning up to do.

Leftover super hot jerk chicken & rice + pea for lunch.

Tonight is pork chops in a mustard sauce with mashed potato and some sort of green veg.

Yesterday was roast chicken, roast potatoes, massive roasted mushrooms stuffed with blue cheese and salad.
Tonight it'll be leftover roast chicken and chips.

I had leftover Indian curry last night..defrosted from the freezer. It always feels like a free meal.

Tonight I'm having WW Cheese & Onion quiche with lots of salad and maybe potatoes.

last night my lovely boy made me spicy rice n beans in wraps with guacamole. it was lovely :) tonight, no idea - I've totally lost my mojo :(
