What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Part one: hummus with red pepper and ryvita, followed by some Dominosteine for pudding.

Part two (after seeing Biddly's photo of her chorizo hash with egg on top): a fried egg sarnie.

Not the most satisfying dindins ever...definite single person moment here also. I'll make sure to have some proper grub tomorrow!

Just had eggs benedict - English muffin, serrano ham, scrambled eggs & hollandaise sauce.

Off to the Eagle in a minute for a big lunch amd pints, will have to see how much room we have left for tea before deciding.

No, I decided if I bought a deep fat fryer I'd never get fit. I think the sacrifice has been too great :D
but... :(

Ms T has a deep fat frier and she's well fit ;)

You can buy jars of it.

The sauce is quite easy to do, but we used a jar today. Not quite as nice, but if you make the scrambled eggs in the microwave it makes this a 5 minute breakfast that tastes much more than that. Recommended for a treat.

Good one, and well done Ms T, and I love that toy :) Maybe we'll get a fryer and try to exercise some restraint. We could have veg tempura then too

I'll just have to learn to change the oil more than every 4 years this time though :D

Potato wedges and, er, haven't decided yet. Might think of something while doing the spuds.

I had my dinner for lunch.....fried mushrooms and chicken livers with potato and carrot mash and broccoli.
So prob toast for dinner. :hmm:
Or crisps!

Tri-tip joint marinated in rosemary, garlic and red wine. Roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, maybe some peas and carrots

I did actually see a picture of 'fishfinger katsu curry' online, which I'm incredibly tempted by, but I'm also so sleepy that making a sandwich is going to be an epic test of my dedication and skill

I've got a tin of spicy parsnip soup that I might dip it in. But I don't do ketchup, mayonnaise, brown sauce etc.

ommlette. Or frittata type thing? Omlette with onion, mushroom and potato. Don't think i cooked the egg properly - feel a bit ill :hmm:

how many 'm's in ommmmlete btw? My spelling is attrocious.
