What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Back to the cafe near I work for another big plate of sausages, bacon, chips and beans. They give me 10% off as well. I could see this getting dangerous. It's just as well they don't open till 9 or could see more of their breakfasts on the horizon before work.

Spent the evening down a lead mine afterwards, so hopefully burnt some of it of, but wasn't as active as as I thought it may be and yet still I'm hungry again.

BBQ last night - veggie sausages, halloumi, veg kebabs, spicy lamb and pork kebabs, burgers/plastic cheese, garlicky prawns, tabbouleh and corn on the cob.

Leftovers tonight with falafel, Greek yoghurt, ful gnoua and couscous with feta and roasted veg. Possibly an omelette for the tiddler if it's all too spicy.

The home grown potatoes we had with our tea last night were soooooo good.
The boy normally complains if I do steamed new potatoes in their skins, but even he went back for seconds!

So tonight we're having more potatoes, the other half of the home grown cabbage (which was also delicious, so sweet!) and some salmon fillets.

Wraps with some of the leftover pork and salad. Melon and pineapple for pudding.
Gonna reclaim our balcony space by eating out here (it's not too bad now that I've put everything back :hmm: once I'd I swept up the millions of nails and screws they'd not even ATTEMPTED to clear up  although it's tight enough that I'm now blowing fag smoke all over the washing on the airer right next to me  :D )...

Chilli con carne.

Slight deviation from the norm in that I didn't have any fresh chillies in so I gave it a good blast of Encona pepper sauce as well as some chilli powder. Not sure about this at first as I associate that Encona stuff with Caribbean cooking really but it tastes pretty good so far. Really went nuts with the garlic and the cumin/coriander as usual.

Been nibbling all day: mini jam donut, lemon cheesecake muffin, half a chicken stuffing sandwich, very small ready meal (Tesco's own spaghetti bologenese from the TB), half a raspberry eclair (from Tesco's meal deal - i didnt like it much). I dont usually eat like this - been running around (and with friends and their toddlers for the past few days...) I love kids but the amount of junk you end up eating/ half eating is mad with all the trotting around and stopping in coffee shops, etc.
