I've got frankfurters and rolls coming with tomorrow's shop!
The corned beef hash was ace - I consulted with my son and we decided to add the cabbage in before it was baked, too - he reckoned it was his perfect meal, just for it all being mixed together.
Had another overflow portion left over which I cooked at 5am on Thursday morning, having been to my son's friend's funeral on Weds..urgh
and passing out not long after I got back but then waking up at 3, completely unable to sleep again (& realising I'd not eaten all day). Caught my son just about to go to sleep, having been up the whole night himself, so we shared that before he went to bed himself. Comforting, defo.
Yesterday I did seafood braised in coconut milk - huss, squid, mussels and crabsticks (
) which I bunged some spinach into and we had with naan bread.
I got red snapper fillets out for today but my son's ex (
) gf is coming to stay over again, so we bought a pizza when we got out of the cinema earlier for them to have with some chips and I've had some lentil and bacon soup and toast.
