What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Cheddar and sweet chilli chutney quiche, red pepper and feta quiche, caramelised onion houmous, sunflower seed batard, iceberg salad and tomato salad. Nommmmm!!!

Wine first, naturally, it being Friday and the law and all :thumbs:
 
Got some fava beans soaking to make some flafels which will go in some pita's with all the shizzle. Some aubergine and cumin dip as aubergines are only 39p a pop in Lidls atm, tabbouleh and cacik

eta... just picked up 4 avocados for a quid, so guacamole as well

Smallboy refused his sausages (the little ones in beans, I used to love them when I was a kid) and instead nommed a whole veggie sausage, saying "I like yours better mummy because they have no meat" he's only 3 :D

There's been a lot of falafel on this thread recently, I may have to try that next.
 
Freezer foraged sausage casserole and potato wedges.
Nice simple tea because we're busy packing up the caravan for a week in Northumberland :cool:
 
Stuffed peppers, patatas bravas, meatballs and chorizo in red wine with lots of bread. [emoji106] All because I got some manchego in the TB. [emoji41]
Of course, while I was creating a shitload of dishes, the boiler packed up. [emoji35] It's been a monumentally shit fucking day so I'll finish the wine I've opened for the chorizo. The wine I was going to drink in a scolding hot bath. [emoji35]
 
First BBQ of the year round ours tonight. Sun's got his hat on. :cool: So it'll be burgers, potato salad and some of my brothers mindblowingly hot salsa. :cool:
 
Realised that I've accumulated far too many joints of meat from the TB over the last couple of months, so I can see quite a few roast dinners coming up. Tonight it's roast rare topside with yorkshires, garlic and rosemary roast spuds (sweet and normal), roast parsnips and Jerusalem artichokes, steamed carrots and some greens. Gravy made from the pan juices
 
It's going to have to be trout, because if i don't cook it it'll go off. I don't want trout though, i want sausages. Either toad in the hole or sausage, chips and beans.

Child wants toad too. Fuckit I'll cook the trout and let it go cold. Toad in the hole and chips is a thing right :hmm::oops:
 
Probably some kind of pedestrian pasta effort.

Got nowt in really except what I have for tomorrow, going to have a stab at a slow cooked lamb biriyani :)
