Got some fava beans soaking to make some flafels which will go in some pita's with all the shizzle. Some aubergine and cumin dip as aubergines are only 39p a pop in Lidls atm, tabbouleh and cacik

Smallboy refused his sausages (the little ones in beans, I used to love them when I was a kid) and instead nommed a whole veggie sausage, saying "I like yours better mummy because they have no meat" he's only 3

There's been a lot of falafel on this thread recently, I may have to try that next.

Roast asparagus, courgette and red pepper with cous cous, with toasted hemp and flax seeds and a walnut oil dressing.

Eta - ended up being bulgar wheat, and lemon and walnut dressing. Very delicious.

Realised that I've accumulated far too many joints of meat from the TB over the last couple of months, so I can see quite a few roast dinners coming up. Tonight it's roast rare topside with yorkshires, garlic and rosemary roast spuds (sweet and normal), roast parsnips and Jerusalem artichokes, steamed carrots and some greens. Gravy made from the pan juices
