I have been doing a bbq for the kids. It was nice. :)
 
BBQing here too, + drinking a lovely Bacardi Gold. Missus is back from Florida and brought me some lovely goodies, esp' a new pair of shades. :cool:
 
Sorting through boxes of crap in my hall cupboard and throwing loads away, telling my friend how to tap Ariane, telling my other friend some extreeeemely shocking, juicy and weird gossip on ichat.
 
My son made us tacos for dinner (uck!!) and hubby said they were the best ever!!!

The two of them are playing some shot-em-up game on the computer and I'm on Urban - avoiding my kitchen that looks like a disaster zone.
 
Trying unsuccessfully to sleep with a headache.....


getting up, taking a painkiller and hoping to get rid by distracting myself..

Nah am calmer now, my youngest's exam results whilst ok fell a tad short of what we'd hoped and his dad thought this a good moment to have a proper go and i had a hysterical phone call from him........

Was having a dream about doing my shopping, needing a wee and finding all public lavs locked for refurbishment. Woke up and dashed to the loo. Listened to World Service over a cup of coffee reheated from yesterday till Radio 4 came on. Put pot of coffee on the stove, had a bit of a tidy, made BL's breakfast and had more coffee, did some laundry and and got all excited about going to have lunch with frogwoman later today :)
 
lying on the sofa, chatting to the cats, emptying the dishwasher and washing machine, refilling the dishwasher, coming back to sit on the sofa again :D

planning tomorrows roast lunch :cool: am stuck for an idea for pudding and am wondering if zapp brannigan and fizz_gig eat apple crumble :hmm:
 
Watching Godfather part 2. I got a bit of a shock at the end when the message to put disc 2 on came up. :eek: :D How fucking long?

I could eat some apple crumble right now.

I have been looking at wedding dresses online :oops:
 
I checked and they do so I now have tomorrows lunch all sorted, and some soup for supper tomorrow sorted too :) just got to stick the breadmaker on tomorrow :)

My daughter and her b/f came down for a quick visit. They were down to pick up a truck to help them move. They just bought a house and are very excited. The b/f borrowed some dyi books.
 
Looking for houses, looking for jobs, wondering how on earth to get both sorted at once in a new area as one seems to require the other for the most part, being excited with a mild streak of panic, lol.
