What you been doing for the last two hours? (pt4)

Silently amused that someone at our place who wants everything handing to her on a silver plate has handed in a months notice this morning.

He'll be 9 on Sunday. It's for his birthday treat. I thought we could go to the Thinktank in Birmingham and then take him to the 3D cinema there. The teen said it was scary but he's quite a tough little thing and he'd enjoy the 3D bit for sure... I'm not sure if it's a bit gory though - I've not seen it.

Can't remember it being massively gory, just a few bits that made me wince when the joker was going to slice people's faces

Reading and making notes from a really excellent book and realising that we've actually been making a far better job of our project than I've given us credit for. I can feel my enthusiasm coming back, and that's a really good feeling.

Hurray Roadkill!

I've been lounging on the sofa watching crap tv and booking theatre tickets.

And admiring my tidy pantry but that's a bit sad isn't it?

We're trying to decide what DVD to watch. It's allowed to be one of mine because it's my birthday week. I have let magic sam go through them and pick some he is willing to watch and I just keep hearing huffing and 'all your films are fucking shit'. I fear we might just give up and go to bed. :D

Eating a full English, lying on the sofa watching rain falling in the garden. Nursing aching muscles caused by a sudden urge to re-arrange all my living room furniture by myself late last night. Looks much better now :D

I do love a good rearrange (it's the only time everything gets cleaned properly too, which just serves to further increase the self-satisfaction when it's all finished).

Mine is due for the treatment too, as it happens... :hmm:

My bezzer picked me up and took me to Sainsburys.

I needed potatoes and mushrooms, but somehow managed to spend £42 ... :hmm:  lots of goodies in the reduced bit...alll reduced to half price too, which is a bit more generous than usual, so I've been separating and clingfilming large quantites of meat for the freezer since I got back. :D

Bezzer was meant to be dying my hair too, but our day has been slightly rudely interrupted  ...so that's had to be put back (hopefully just until later this afternoon).

Can't work out why I thought I'd be fine shifting the same furniture that needed three delivery men to carry in

Playing with my little one's birthday presents, clearing up debris and trying to find 9 candles for his cake. I wonder if he'll realise there are only 8... :hmm:

Well who's going to do it if you don't eh? :D

Did you have to lots of that thing where you sit on the floor and brace yourself up against something and then push on the heavy piece of furniture with your feet? :hmm: :D

Yep :D especially with this deceptively light looking one, weighs a ton even when empty :hmm:

Planting two varieties of Garlic at my plot and digging over a fuckin huge bed ready for the overwintering red and senshu onions that are going in next weekend.
Time for a spliff and a brew, what a lovely late afternoon!

Sitting in the Wacky Warehouse which stank of smelly feet and was full of screaming kids (admittedly, mine were probably the loudest ) and made me and the teen have faces like :( and having tea at the pub which made us :).
