What you been doing for the last two hours? (pt4)

Made eggs benedict for breakfast.

Made fresh pesto and then put it in a pasta salad for a bbq this afternoon.

Told Missy off for bringing a mutilated mouse in. Chased her out with it.

Went to the gym.

Found a bottle of Pimms in the cupboard - off to drink it in the sunshine, perfect.

now eaten, watching some tele and planning my tea

Just watched a documantary on headshrinkers of the Amazon. It was a mistake to be eating a Feast during some of it :(

doing a bit of maintenence on my sewing machine and starting to take up a dress. I've stopped now though, cos I'm going to be cutting into a dress that cost £120 and I'm scared

Take a deep breath, focus and relax... and you'll be allright. :)

Putting some bread maker dough on for white cobs to go with the burgers later.

Avoiding going upstairs cos Flashy is stripping woodchip wallpaper in the bedroom and it's a proper big mess in there :(

Looking for a bloomin' overdue library book. The local library have got an amnesty on at the mo so I wanna take it back but can't find the bugger anywhere and I know I've seen it in the last couple of weeks

Eating too many of aforementioned brownies
Feeling sick
Wondering/pondering/worrying about something

Taking the grown up route of dealing with aforementioned thing by ignoring it
Importing CD's into itunes

I am now editing some audio for a project that is not the Pub Quiz for once (27/7 The George Tavern E1 0LA).

How to make Amazonian headshrinking sound interesting? It's a dimella.

I put some bags on eBay, then I reorganised the photos on my PC and put some new ones on Facebook.

going to a meeting that had been cancelled but no one bothered to tell me  booking a hotel in the states, fiddling around on email, drinking fizzy caffeine

I cant' believe it's almost 11 ffs though

trying and failing to concentrate at work :( went in for a meeting this morning, they are planning a reduction in posts by 32, and restructuring so that there is no wasted non contact time. also individual staff teams will be restructured to have the minimum staff needed on duty at once. currently we always have 1 more staff than students on each shift, as the extra person is usually a manager, who isnt expected to do contact hours. new structure is we will have only the amount of staff students are funded for, so for us, that means we can have 8 and a half staff on duty , and they will be rounding down rather than up. also there will be no pay increase, which tbh although we were expecting, is a bit of a kick in the teeth when for the last 2 years the payrise has been below the level of inflation. they are however, putting the rent up for all staff in company owned accomodation  there are changes to sick pay too but i'm not too worried about that, as from what i can gather, you still get 2 days paid short term sick per 12 months, and tbh there are alot of staff here who do take the micky with sick days at the moment.

in one way, i'm relieved that i will still have a job but on the other hand, the job is going to change alot :(

I've been doing two jobs today! Well, been making a good effort at one and a half-arsed job at the other. One I am not getting paid for (the fun one) and the other (half-arsed) YOU are paying for as I work for the gov't!

:c***:

Trying and failing to buy a new car aerial in Halfods and getting robbed on a car air freshner thingy. Also went to Asda to buy booze and mixers for WOMAD..:)

Having a cup of tea in John Lewis with my son, then slogging back from town with many heavy bags hanging off the pram. Then having a bit of a wobbly turn when we got in and having to sit down with a snack while my son wandered around on the floor.

receiptsearching.
re-advertising for a shortterm lodger.
kicking my own arse into gear.

Blood sugar crash may, or up the duff again? :hmm:

:D The pointing finger of pregnancy turns! First me :hmm:ing feyr, now you doing it to me ;)

The former I would assume, although if I was up the stick again I'm not sure how I'd find out...I've had no periods and as I understand it HPTs are only useful in the early stages. So if - IF! - I was more than a few weeks gone they wouldn't show anything. I think?

Put it this way, I'd be very surprised if I was!

Sitting in the car on St Ives seafront with mr madz, drinking diet coke and doing synchronised belching at unsuspecting tourists. And laughing.

We know how to live
