Been on the phone to a friend of mine, turns out she has stage 3 lung cancer. I think I know what's going to happen but we didn't really go there as they have started treatment, not sure what's what at the moment, still really shocked. She's only 46, a year older than me, and has two teenage sons.
Attending a Back Rehabilitation Clinic (which was fun).
Getting to London Bridge station while it was being evacuated.
Getting a bus instead of the tube but the driver, whilst on a diversion, went the wrong way and stopped the bus as he was not allowed to turn around.
Got off and got on another bus.
Got home and started heating chilli.
Called a friend and sorted out a weekend in Belfast in May.
Drinking wine and listening to the radio.
Just got back from dinner in Croydon with one of my closest friend. Only get to see her every couple of months of months so it was lovely to catch up; especially as I've had a manic few days and needed someone to talk about it to.
I have been writing a report evaluating my management of my department. My department is just me. My account has not been very honest. If it was, it would say: 'I cannot control my workforce'. Sigh.
Nipped into Woolwich for some shopping. Aside from that, just drinking tea, smoking and pissing about on the internet. I really should do something more productive some time soon...
Reading the Saturday Guardian, making some banana bread to use up some manky bananas, and marinading the fish for tonights tea. Also listening to The Honourable Spy on listen again
