What you been doing for the last two hours? (pt4)

Well, work starts on Monday and I have loads of exams to mark and lessons to plan so, obviously, I have been tidying my flat, trying all my clothes on, chatting on facebook, and cleaning the bathroom, while listening to Avenue Q and Emmy the Great's album.

Oh dear.
 
Reading yesterdays newspaper (just realised that I don't have todays yet!!) then for some reason got stuck into cleaning tops of cupboards and sorting out my baking stuff. I have a bag of food stuff including 2 nearly full jars of stem ginger going in the bin.

I need a bigger kitchen so I don't need to store stuff so far out of reach...:(

I have also been uploading photos on FB.
 
Eating the last of the Christmas chocolates before tomorrow's Great Weight-Loss of 2010, watching Wallender, and inwardly groaning at the thought of work tomorrow.
 
Driving a little bit for first time since I broke my foot. Managed to get some chores done and visit friends. Whilst at friends I drank tea, ate biscuits and knitted...:)

It's been a good few hours..:)
 
Got up at 5:45 and made porridge for BL and my son (who's on early shifts for a bit and is staying here till he's back on lates), sang along to some Ethel Merman, danced about with the dog and drank coffee.
 
Watching the Time Traveller's Wife with my mother whilst my father is out of the house. He refused to have it on while he is home because he found it confusing. Also inwardly making plans for my birthday (in two weeks if anyone wants to get me anything!) I can't be bothered to celebrate but my friends want the excuse for a booze up.

Working - not very productively - nipping out for some fags and resisting the temptation to contribute to the whaling thread in the General Forum...
 
Enjoying myself up until i found out my dvd drive on my laptop seems to have vanished, unable to play games on it now or my dvds, fuck sakes, dunno what to do about it.:( Only just payed it off too.....
 
I got up, had breakfast and I've been revising/procrastinating for the last few hours.

More of one than the other, I'll let you work out which. :D
 
Taken daughter to rhyme time at the library, and paid a cheque in to my Smile account at the Post Office and slapped £50 on my Oyster Card on my way home.

First day back at work since Xmas eve tomorrow! Weirdly, I'm quite looking forward to it.
 
Had a job interveiw which went ok I reckon, just the waiting now. Then I had an early lunch so i can go swimming and now I'm going to watch This Morning while I wait for my lunch to go down.
 
working, walked home, prepared and ate some lunch, browsing shit online til i have to walk back to work in a bit and get back into the grind for 3 more hours.
 
Dealing with silly little IT related problems that are not really problems. I hate to sound like a smug IT twat but, some people....jesus :facepalm:
 
Working since 11pm and on until 8.30am, the benefit of being night security is that i get to sit around watching dvds and the internet most of the time between short rounds of the properties, but its freezing outside so im not looking forward to my next round :(
