Bollocks! I got bacon out of the freezer yesterday so we could have bacon sarnies for breakfast but I forgot

laundry, breakfast, flicking through the papers, hoovering, putting lunch on to heat, cutting out circles, listening to some banjos :)

Forcing partner to tidy, making cheddar, ale and cauliflower soup, forcing partner to go get paper and now having a nice glass of
shiraz in tidy lounge room whilst listening to the 22 new albums purchased yesterday at Vinly exchange, Manchester and waiting for baked tatties to get ultra crispy:cool: Even brushed the cat:cool:

I want a bacon sandwich now but I haven't got any bacon :(

I have been burning cds, going to tesco for more blanks, drinking coke out of the bottle to which a mighty dollop of rum has been added.

I feel like a right wino.:D

Writing, posting, drinking tea, munching a bacon and egg sandwich and ... well, trying to motivate myself to get a whole load of work done, but without a lot of success so far.

Going to the shop to get teenagers ingredients for tomorrow, faffing around on here, sewing :)eek:), sorting laundry and eating lunch while waiting for my BIL to come to take me to get some furniture for the teenagers room.

Reading about Samuel Pepys, making and eating a shamefully meaty lunch, realising it's about to piss it down outside and feeling grateful that I don't have to leave the house at all.

More meat??

I've just been watching a film, getting tea ready, talking to the girls, sipping a very lush tempranillo

I know  It is starting to weird me out again though, so maybe this will be it. I marinated some chicken overnight in a mix of fish sauce, lemon juice, ginger, olive oil and white vinegar, then fried it and am eating it in pitta breads with coleslaw; it's tasty and all that, but underneath it all I still can't get over the weirdness of eating chicken meat.

If my kid ever tries to tries to be a fussy eater, I am just going to tell it that it made me eat meat

I'm still waiting for my BIL. :(

I've been trying to help the teenager sort her room but I got as far as cleaning her bathroom and noticed she was doing not very much at all. We sent the little one under her bed to bring out all the crap though. At one point we thought we had lost him. And got rid of a pair of trainers on freecycle within 10 mins of posting the advert.

Your body is obviously demanding it - a protein thing. And what your body needs right now, it should have :)

Sounds lush as well  As long as you're eating decent meat I don't see the problem chick :)

It is a tasty marinade! Recommended for a superior chicken sandwich experience.

The thing is, I've inadvertently collected loads of tasty-sounding meat recipes over the years, because they're in cookery books or on the same page as something else I've kept from a magazine, so I figure now is the time to try them out while I still have an excuse :D

Mmm! meat! Am just about to go and start cooking a meat ragu with 4, count 'em! 4 different types of meat. It's surf and turf night tonight at chez poo too!

I've just got back from a couple of hours at the gym - was cooling down and I thought I saw Jay Rayner walk past so got up to double check and it was! He's much smaller in real life than on telly/in the paper!

 He's only Aunty Clare's son, Tanky!

And a food critic too I believe.

I had a bath, made a jerk marinade, bathed the small girl then trimmed her fringe (she didn't wriggle too much for a change so it's actually straight too...HURRAY! :D ) and played an irritating noisy electronic alphabet game with her and the small boy.

Oh yeah - and rewashing a load, because the small girl had put a nappy in the washing machine so everything came out covered in white fluff. :D

Rewashing hasn't worked however, so I am resigned to hanging them up, then trying to brush the fluff off when they're dry. :(

Finished off cutting out circles for my book; ate a big fat lunch; brought the washing in out the rain; finally got changed out my pyjamas... and now trying to finish my latest scarf and watching some odd programme about a plane crashing in the sea.

Had some drama as i managed to shut my finger in the door.......have split it all the way across under the nail, it still hasn't stopped bleeding and i think the nail is gonna come off at some point !

it hurtys

:(

I pity the poor neighbours as i did make a lot of noise at the time.......

and the eldest had to wipe the blood of the floor.............but bugger me it hurts like a very hurty thing in a big pile of hurty.....

i would never withstand torture !

it made a very good crunching noise too

Owwwwwwww! That sounds horrible mentalchik, fingers in doors are never fun :( I hope eldest also made you a cup of tea/calming beverage of choice.

Well after generally jumping about and some comments about " how did i ever deal with childbirth"...., no not really...
