Walked home from work (ah, the joy of working only half a mile away) checked emails, slowly getting ready for my mates Birthday piss up this evening.

drove home after a horribly stressful day. found pub to book someone in, pub was closed though - about sums up my fucking day. on the plus side, no wankers crashed on the m6 so made it home in an hour  fed cats, took slap off, poured wine, stuck jims on, annnnnnd relaxed *deflates*

Cleaning downstairs, I even did the windows! And cutting the teens fringe as the hairdresser made a right hash of it. And laundry, and more cleaning. :(

Upstairs tomorrow - oh goody!

coming home from work, little chat with the girl and her mate before they buggered off. then tea and spliffs and a bit of eyeliner application.

Drinking a few vodka's and listening to good tunes as i prepare for the dirtbombs gig later .
Soj has just got out of the shower ffs so in the words of Diana Ross 'I'm still waiting'

Posted some Ebay stuff, went to tesco for lottery, yoghurt and a packet of discos. Ate discos and a kinder bueno (new white one-nice), watched news.

All thrilling stuff. I'm going to do some washing and tidy the lounge in a bit. :(

At the moment I'm talking on Skype to an iffy Algerian who's despairing at my celibate lifestyle and teaching me all manner of useful expressions :-

"draguer" - for which my dictionary suggests :-
"chercher les mines sous-marines pour les neutraliser."

"en tapres deux belles nana tous les deux"

:D

Apparently :-

"il (his friend) ma dis que les femmes son tres chaude a londre
et les hommes sont tous boures"

I ought to be out in the sunshine, but I have nowhere in particular to go and a flipping cold that snuck in under the hayfever. :p

Watching a toddler run around, squealing with delight. It's such a beguiling sight, seeing that pure joy in just being. :)

Absolutely fuck all :D

Cricket's on the telly, Alex is playing with his Star Wars lego, I've got some stock bubbling away on the hob, we have beer, all is right with the world.

shopping, having eyebrow and underarms waxed, buying lottery tickets (new syndicate with friends from today), eating and preparing to bake Delia's ultimate carrot cake...

Sorting out the route to Glastonbury on my TomTom so we don't end up in the east car park again, soaking lentils for dhal, drinking beer in the garden and listening to my neighbours and their friends talking shite, watching Hillary Clintons speech and smoking.

:D you babysitting tonight then?

I been marinating some beef, earthing up my potatoes, finding hiding snails and getting them away from my veggies, knitting and listening to the cricket... nice lazy day :)

for the last 2 hours - no make that last SIX hours - I have been trawling around Cribbs Causeway with the daughter. However, we now have the prom dress (£50 TKMaxx, thanks to all who suggested it) and the daughter has a bunch of other stuff she bought from assorted shops.

My feet hurt and I'm now enjoying a well earned beer and a choc ice:cool:.

Pottering :) Out in the garden with boyfriend, clearing up some of the viney confusion out there; letting the cats out for their first wander in the new place; vacuuming up a LOT of cat hair from inside the house; contemplating dinner.

Replacing the side tensioning cables in the roof of my car, whilst listening to the cricket, followed by a quick dash to the ice cream factory to get some brandy/orange ice cream :)

Watching Shipwrecked that I recorded earlier then the end of Take That on T4 and then the end of To kill a Mockingbird which has made me want to watch the rest. I then dozed off for a few mins, woke Magic Sam up, washed new potatoes ready for dinner, waiting for Magic Sam to peel me some carrots (got bad hand), then will start dinner. Might watch This is England later if he fancies it.

COOKING. I've been cooking like a motherfucker for 5 hours. Love it. I've done a roast chicken, French onion soup and sun-dried tomato focaccia. Best way to spend a Sunday ever.

Getting ready for work, trying to notbe too distracted by the lovely weather, then again as long as I get my hours in over the month I might well take today off to get a peg on with the allotment.

throwing up, eating crisps, throwing up again, trying to settle 2 grumpy little people who are teething, 2 who are grumpy at being woken up by the other 2 grumping and 1 who keeps having brief seizures, prodding at mr feyr to wake him up to help. they all settled now , and i should try to get back some sleep as i have to be up at 6 to get ready for work :(

Hope today is an easier day feyr. x

Got woken up early by one of the boys friends calling him from outside.... 'I WOKE UP AT 6 THIS MORNING... ' ......so you thought you'd come here and wake all of us up too?  :D

Made the boy's lunch, washed up, turned the stock back on, admired the hall paint job, here...gonna go for an early swim now, then come back and polish the rest of my knobs in the sun on the plot.
