I've been trying to find my middle son who appears to have disappeared. He was playing out the front with his little brother but when the teen went to see them, the little on was out on his own. Apparently, his big brother has gone to the shop without telling anyone.
That's not actually been the last two hours but I'm really cross so thought I'd have a mini rant.
Went to see God of Carnage, the new West End play with Ralph Fiennes. It was excellent. Very funny, great acting. Thoroughly enjoyed myself even though we bought the cheapest tickets on sale with restricted view.
Mostly, trying to make an appointment with my GP.
Just getting an endless engaged tone. I suppose the only consolation is that I only need to ring a local number, not an 0845 one!
Fending off religious people at the door. Putting on a pot of coffee.
Trying to collar a brother on msn while stealthily buying the manshapes birthday presents (he's still asleep I hope and not rigged up a periscope contraption from the bedroom). Watching the Bold and Beautiful.
Now I'm sorting out new anti virus stuff and considering making a GP appt (I've had cuckoo tonsils for a week).
Watching neighbours and cleaning interspersed with sitting doing nothing ('resting').
I've just about managed the bathroom (not the floor yet ) but I think I've overdone things and may not be able to have a bath now. But on the plus side, if only I could scrub, I could remove the mad stainage. If I kitchen towel and cilit bang it overnight perhaps...
For the last two hours I've been doing the same I've been doing since getting back from the doctor's this morning: hitting F5 on half a dozen forums, posting occasionally, playing pervy prog-rock keyboards sporadically, channel hoping (in vain) and thinking I should probably do something tonight but having no idea what.
I've just sat down for the first time today. I've been very busy doing kid and house things, including spending a small fortune at Matalan on the teen and sorting out the hall cupboard.
