Well that was a bloody waste of time. Got to the end of the food shopping, went to lump the cat food in the virtual trolley and all they have as far as Tesco cans go are 2 individual ones, no multipacks. That's my reason for doing a big shop. So now my dilemma is whether it's worth going up there myself on the off chance that the stock system is a bit wrong, waiting 'til tomorrow and see if it's any better online or just going to Asda.

Last two (actually more like six) hours i have been busy...excitedly dug up my first ever home grown spuds, disappointedly put one empty plant in the compost recycling bin and very carefully removed the three cherry tomato sized spuds from one of the other plants. I suck at growing spuds Planted some more today, i am a glutton for punishment.

Fed the cats, texted mates who are in manchester for pride that i can't go to cos of elderly cat not being too well Jumped up and down listening to Carra scoring then Stevie G. Watered the garden and drunk some wine.

I've been eating chocolate digestives and nectarines and watching 'The bucket list' with my son..and trying really hard not to cry at the end, cos I still remember how fucking horrifically embarrassed and WTF?!?-like I used to feel when my mum did it!


I failed unfortunately, but he didn't seem too bothered.

He's probably more used to me crying, than I was to my mum's tears, mind....
