That brings back memories of my mum rushing out to get the washing in when i was a kid. The wind always seemed to be blowing towards the house from whatever direction they were spreading!

I have dropped my kitten, Bob, off at the vets as he's being neutered today. (((Bob)))
Washed up, watched the pentathlon, looked in my cupboards for bread making ingrediants to find they are all two years out of date, so i will soon be going out to the shops to get more.

Tbh, this isn't a very big lake. It's the boating lake in my local park, but it's big enough, and they have a lovely big fountain in it too which is ace

I always make the effort to get up really early in order to have the park to myself, as I too am an anti-social grumpy old bugger. I know, surprising isn't it?

Sounds a bit like Battersea Park, where if you're a badman (like me) you can climb up the back of the fountain and be hidden by trees while you chillax.

I hear you on the empty parks bit - I went to mine at about 7am and it was grey and spitting, and completely deserted. PERFECT
