Chard in a sandwich <3<3 Do you cook it with stuff?? They put chard in sandwiches in Italy. When I've had it it's been cooked with garlic and chilli. Sooo good.

Today I had toast and butter and coffee as I was in a hurry

I have it raw in sandwiches. But sometimes add it to a stir fry as an alternative to spinach. It wilts a little in the sandwich btw. I love chard.

Had visitors so upgraded from weatabix to shreddies
So todays breakfast was a mix of chopped banana, chopped nuts, plain yoghurt, & mixed berries with a sprinkling of shreddies on top. Not much then!
And obligitary morning coffee.
Oh and toast with butter and marmite.

Left over this: on Rye toast with two poached eggs. It's ackee with onions,garlic, paprika,cumin and chilli.

Fishy mash today. Smoked peppered mackerel and colcannon mash. Had nice fishy burps all morning.

Cup of tea and 2 slices of toast with good old lurpak, peanut butter and three fruit jam. About to make a 2nd cuppa.

Fillet steak. Parents bought it for my looking birthday, planned it for a Friday evening, but the toddler and I didn’t get down until 23:30.

So fillet steak for brekkie it was

Medium rare, with mustard. £12.50 of it!

The cake was amalgamated with granulated sugar.

The toddler then added nesquik.

Neither realised that sprinkles won’t stick to dry cake tops.

It was the thought that counted.
