What are you having for breakfast?

My mum offered me this:

Cold lamb. Looks and feels quite gristly. Dry.

Thanks, Mum.

I had toast

And abysmal coffee that my FIL would heartily approve of.

I'd eat that. :)

I had noodles for breakfast. Mild hangover and no ingredients for a fry up. On the plus side I've got a small bit of steak for lunch. Just got to motivate myself to move from the PC and do the chores before that.

Brown seedy toast with mashed avocado, runny boiled egg chopped up on top and black pepper. Greek yoghurt with finely diced apple* and lots of cinnamon. Mini malt loaf. Cup of coffee.

*From the huge sack of cox's that someone brought in to the cafe for people to take - they're all lovely and crisp and fresh and they taste AMAZING

It's Sunday, so I'm NOT having fruit and yoghurt. I had a warburtons thin (thin bread roll thing), a fried egg (fried in spray oil) and some BAKED BEANS (this is most exciting as it's hard to find them here and they're expensive).

That felt like a real treat :)

Bacon, scrambled eggs, white pudding and brown soda bread

Pot of tea

Once I get out of bed

Sounds good. I've only found white pudding recently and it's nice. Quite expensive for something with so little meat, but will definitely be keeping it in stock for cooked breakfasts.

My mum bought soda bread occasionally when I was a kid. I didn't like it, but my tastes have massively expanded since then and with my new found love of baking, it sounds a fun thing to try making. :)

Staying with my mate in Paris and he did brunch:

Scrambled egg
Bacon
Trompe de Morts mushrooms
French bread
Croissant
Half an almond and chocolate pastry

I’m probably ok for the rest of the day now :cool::D
