How about chocolate and aubergine cake? It's very rich and moist. No flour, only ground almonds and the aubergine is instead of egg. You wouldn't know it had aubergine in it if you didn't know.Lovely!

Macarons went MACAWRONG dunno why, same recipe, different oven. Completely undercooked both batches and 2nd batch I left in for longer.

It's a bit faffy, and uses honey but you could substitute sugar

I've done so before now and it more or less works. You can also substitute mueseli for oats in a flapjack (the traybake kind, not the pancakes) recipe.Can I substitute museli for porridge oats in a recipe for oatmeal cookies? <snip>
Also made a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream for his birthday tea today.
