In my current job, it is part of the the cleaner's job, but we only have a really small kitchen, and it really annoys me how people just let the washing up stack up, so there is no room to rinse a glass out!

Our last cleaner used to chip mugs rather more than I believe is possible, so I am not sure she felt it should be part of her job :)

In my last job, it was not part of the cleaner's job, so she wouldn't do the washing up, and people just washed their own cups. If we had guests, the admin staff used to make them a coffee/tea, but then refuse to wash up. The cups would gather and, sometimes, I would find myself washing mouldy cups! :D

We have tea makers in our work!

I had an argument with them once - the milk was at the incorrect temperature.

They were fired for back chat....

I think justice was done!

;)
YOU TOO!!! UP AGAINST THE WALL!!!

If you could line up with Rollem, ear to ear, we can just use the one bullet and save a bit of cash, ta muchly.

<calls security>

We have security as well at our place....

Perhaps we should hoover round our own bit of desk too. If you're going to have a cleaner it makes sense for cleaning tasks to fall under his or her remit. Dishwashing is a cleaning task. And saves the argument of who's job it is to clean mugs for visitors etc.

cleaner who obviously hasn't got enough to do already ?

As opposed to everyone else in the office....

Our cleaner rarely does more that 1h3/4 of his 2 hour shift.

why does everyone insist on trying to anger me? :(

It's your fault -

Let's say your anger is on the x axis - the y axis will reflect your anger..

so the more you get angry at things like washing up - the more reflection of your anger.....

You have to look at yourself in the mirror and say loudly - fuck it, the cleaners can do it. ;)

where is the raspberry blowing icon? 'sbad as yahoo. they never have the appropriate icon for my emotions.

We have to leave the kitchen tidy for other people, so I wash up the stuff I have used in preparing my lunch. The plates etc and cups I leave for the cleaner.
