Those SAS programmes...

...I quite like them. I know I shouldn't. I even find Ant and his cronies quite watchable.

I'm enjoying Ant etc all swanning around in expensive civvie gear whilst the recruits suffer in cheap budget fleeces etc.
I’ve been addicted to them for the last few years. The US one was even better. Very guilty pleasures.

Wait, what’s it called? I’m just about to finish Luther and I need something that doesn’t make me jump and scream.

It seems to be gradually getting more about the sob stories. Obvs it's all in the editing but I was pissed off for the Scottish woman who disclosed her background in a DV relationship then got booted off 10 minutes later.

It's almost as bad as MasterChef in that regard.

Some pretty sad tales in this series mind

.....and.....? Tell us a story then!

Apparently just a self involved knobber with little self awareness:D

Having said that plenty of those types in a lot of the “elite” infantry mobs and its a self filtering/self selecting process, choosing to join a tough organisation is the first filter and gets more concentrated as more “special” Hoops are jumped through

Lots of alphas with egos, not necessarily deep thinkers:D

Tbh the guy might well have killed people (or at least was willing to do so). I'm not sure a macho tweet about Brexit is a big deal.

I had heard he was pro-Brexit and much as I enjoy both SAS and Mutiny I'm not surprised he is an egotistical knobber! Tbf I'd still want him on my side in a punch up.

I am all about Foxy though!!

As for the contestants Mark and Louise are my favourites. With Milo not far behind.

I know Ant Middleton, he's a lovely bloke - no idea about the others.

I can certainly say that Ant is quite different in real life: quiet, unassuming, bit of a home bird or just bimbling in the country - I rather suspect that the act is, well, an act, it's what's required for tv. I don't begrudge what he does, I know what he's put in.

He's good at the TV stuff. That's for sure.

Ex SAS bloke talks cobblers on twitter quell surprise attended you too could join the SAS presentation which they do too most units to drum up interest the whole hardest selection in the world tends to be slightly off-putting of potential recruits:hmm: who knew. We got to chat to some of the badged soldiers quite mad.:D
One believed barracks shouldn't have hot water or central heating to toughen the troops up :(
