Sinn Féin has selected Michelle Gidernew MP (Fermanagh and South Tyrone) as a candidate for the European Parliament elections. Dual-mandates aren't allowed so, unless a general election gets in the way, there may be a by-election called in the summer.
The last four general elections in F&ST summarised:

2015: UUP gain, majority 530
2017: SF gain, majority 875

Under the current rules, this triggers the Recall of MPs Act process. Voters in his seat will have six weeks to sign a petition supporting his removal; if 10% do so, the seat is vacated, and a byelection is held.
The expected general election will make all this moot were it called in the meantime.

Tory MP, Mark Menzies, who represents Fylde denies borrowing £5000 from party members to pay off "bad people". He called an elderly party member late one night and by the following morning the fee had gone up to £6,500. He denies the claim but has been suspended, probably because everyone who lent was reimbursed out of party funds.
Anyway, let's hope the the Fydlers get to go to the ballot box.
