The fall of Manchester City -what's gone wrong?

Please, don't, I've removed that number from my brain. 91, 92, 94, 95... :(

And Joey Barton.
Thanks for that, City. If there was justice, Barton would be in fucking prison.

City have shat the bed again despite having something like 75% possession and I genuinely do think something is going on behind the scenes, because a team at City's level imploding like this just isn't normal. Not that Villa aren't amazing, mind. Emery has done such a great job.

Sean Dyche is going to get a late Christmas present at this rate.

Ahh, I'm sure there's a hotel in Khalifa City that will sponsor our match ball for £10m a game.
I do hate your owners. Clearly. But it's quite something when the Glazers sell part of the club and I end up hating the resultant United ownership even more.

Yeah I think it's hilarious you ended up with those tossers. I got to enjoy the demise of the once great (but very sketchy) Sky cycling team and now they're gonna fuck United right up.
The most interesting thing about the Prem these days is the boardroom and (in our case) courtroom comedy.

As a United fan, I can't complain when other teams have success. One team dominating for years is shit. I'd agree with you about City fans who stuck with the club as well. Might add that United's ownership and contribution to football becoming commodified shite is dreadful. So much so that I haven't been to OT since the Glazers took over. Might further add that Radcliffe is a tax exile scumbag.

But none of that deflects one iota from what City's ownership is about.
I got so bored with us winning consistently I quit watching entirely, came back to watching it just after Ferguson quit, it's rather different.

It is, it is indeed. :D
Even with my lack of knowledge after some years it didn't take long to work out Moyles was just going FUCK ME I HAVE AN ACTUAL BUDGET and going for insane targets. That went, poorly. Is interesting at times to not just be assumed winners tho, have same playing Football Manager, soon as we have the title and Euro Championship a few years running its like what am I even bothering for? I have people lined up for 10 years worth of football now and us winning, plus money left over and mostly im managing people with bruised egos cos they aren't starting behind the worlds best whatever position. It's dull. So I fired Wayne Rooney and dealt with Plymouth, thats more of a challenge and interest.

Would have helped if we played any remotely interesting football for quite a while tho does look more interesting currently, we will see.

Not Danny Röhl. He OURS. I'd say get Roberto Martinez for irony, but he has a cushy job with Portugal.

I wish Villa got some credit. They really deserved that, it wasn't all down to City forgetting how to football.

I think pre season City would have thought the squad isn't perfect but its strong enough and they could wait for the end of the season to bring in new players . I think they will move that forward, they could do with replacements/cover at left and right back , central midfield, another forward and possibly another keeper imv. I think the priority will be central midfield, forward and left back in January

Dunno, Championship, toughest league to get out of. And that loss of revenue will really hit a club like City. :(
24 years and counting, though I'll be honest, after the horror season Sheffield United had last season and the one Saints are having now, I'm not sure I want us to get promoted!
