We did a gig in an Irish pub at the weekend. I can report that Linger went down moderately well but nowhere near as well as Runaway by The Corrs, and that both were massively eclipsed in popularity by Go Your Own Way, The Boxer and Take on Me. In short, The Cranberries might be a top 50 band in history but they weren’t a top 10 cover in Ganley’s Irish Bar in Morden.
