Her husband was on as well but he seemed as baffled as everyone else. I don't think he has her bullshit skills. He was a bit "well of course we made money out of it what else do you expect".
I think the only truthful thing she said was "they all knew about it and didn't care", which is entirely believable because there was so much similar grift going on. I mean maybe individual people didn't know about that case but I mean you can't keep track of all the crooks can you.
Well thats true to form though not necessarily one of my issues. That stinking good for nothing low life made £60 million out of a global crisis.60 million quid. For making a few phone calls to a dealer in Hong Kong and setting up a shell company to cash the cheques. It would take me 2,000 years to earn that much money. Longer in fact, because I don't live in a PO box on the Isle of Man so I would have to pay tax.

Popcorn time?
She isn't going down without a fight. Wonder how many she can take with her ?.If they are using her as the sacrificial goat, it surely has some risks for rat-boy?
I like how the Graun has woven this thread into a completely unconnected news story (about a proposal to digitise wills and destroy the originals):Might explain why all those No. 10 WhatsApp messages had to be 'lost'?
The apparent vulnerability was also revealed this month when the prime minister, Rishi Sunak, and the former prime minister Boris Johnson both claimed they could no longer access WhatsApp messages sought by the UK Covid-19 public inquiry.
She isn't going down without a fight. Wonder how many she will take with her ?.
The answer is, of course, not enough. She isn't going down without a fight. Wonder how many she can take with her ?.

I reckon they are that stupid.Indeed. But, judging by the interview yesterday she'd be useless at hitting a cows arse with a banjo let alone bringing down her venal, but slippery, colleagues. The allegation that she made - that a bribe was suggested to make the NCA investigation go away would be explosive if true and proven. But even this lot coudn't be that stupid...could they?
It's like watching the previously presumed-dispatched henchman reappear out of the dark, grimly holding on to the legs of the duplicitous villain who threw them under the bus to slow down the good guy in the first place, as they desperately try to hold on to a fast-disintegrating rope over a dark abyss, the boss-hood's trousers slowly sliding down his thighs, offering the choice between humiliation or demiseShe isn't going down without a fight. The problem is, she's telling the absolute truth, now anyway, they all knew about it. My own boss at the time was doing the same shit and is probably shitting himself now. He managed to get his own PPE stuff buried to p14 from p1 in the papers because of his media connections but im sure it'll come back to bite him on the arse (he's in the house of lords too, also put there by Cameron like Money) although he 'stood down' during Covid as he's clearly a little brighter than Mone). And yeh, everybody knew what was going on. He also had a hotline to Gove. It was well dodgy.
I mean why was there a 'VIP lane' in the first place if not to help the tories give sacks full of public cash to their mates with minimal due process? Why didn't the DoHSC just hire half a dozen people to ring round suppliers and put in orders directly?
