That vile, lying Tory peer, Michelle Mone

friedaweed

Me and me girl named Jane
This seems to have legs.

Right up Gove's arse too.

Your thoughts urbzes?

Network and self-promote. Crisis = opportunity. Rinse and (if you can) repeat.

The government let it happen. She and her husband were facilitated by that 'fast lane' bullshit.

She may be pilloried, so what? She would just be some figurehead to take the backlash. Loads more got away with it.

Filth. Systemic filth.

It's those workers striking to keep up with the cost of living crisis that deserve our scorn, not corrupt rich fuckers siphoning off millions of pounds of our money.

My old mans company made £60 million. I lied but thats not a crime and hindsight is wonderful.
So is a slow boat to Rwanda.
"Mone admitted she had lied to the press."
"That’s not a crime,"
Well she can just fuck off to somewhere and stay there, just not my backard. Evil twisted character she is for profiteering out of a crisis
and regrets lying.
Once a tory always a tory.

After seeing the BBC interview I am less sure of my ground.

It seems the PPE was of merchantable quality.

Regardless, she still made £60 mill out of a crisis, while people were dying, while people were struggling to live, while some of the lowest paid workers, now deemed essential workers had to continue working to support the rest of us. I wonder how much they made out of furlough and loans etc. oh, and it was one Tory giving work to another Tory.

She keeps being reported as a former Tory peer; what that actually means is she has taken a leave of absence from The Lords until the news cycle moves on.

I was in a hotel this morning and woke up after a bad and confused sleep to see Michelle Mone on BBC Breakfast trying to claim that the reason she lied all the time was to protect her family who would otherwise have been persecuted by journalists investigating the fact that she and her husband had conspired to get contracts for PPE which didn't work, and that she was the real victim of the awful media.

This really didn't help restore my sense of reality. But then nothing does these days.

eta: oh and the idea that she wasn't profiting from it except her family was, really the icing on that surreal cake
