Oh the news just gets better and better on this fine morning. 
An Italian court ( yesterday) began proceedings against Mrs Jowell`s husband ( David Mills ) for money laundering and tax evasion that could see him face 12 years in jail.
He was responsible for setting up two off-shore firms which where then used to buy foreign television rights overseas and then sell them onto Mr Berlusconi`s Mediaset group at artifically inflated prices. The effect of which was to reduce the groups tax liability by some £44.1 million pounds.
This was the same shister that attempted to get the governments ban on selling air craft parts to Irans Air Force changed so that he could personally enrich himself ( and his wife). He was so determined to do this that he even went o far as to caljoule government ministers at offical state functions and to use his wifes connections to do so.
Its going to open up a can of worms..should be interesting to see what the outcome will be...
