A wonderful land inhabited by a disproportionate number of wankers I’m afraid. I don’t think I will voluntarily be going to the great Satan ever again. Apologies decent people

I would imagine a land with a fairly average proportion of wankers

Maybe they should just pass one law to make everything legally the same as in the 50s again, since that's clearly what they want, except probably with even fewer rights for non-white people ☹️

Let's just hope these US fundamentalist nutjobs don't have a shitload of outriders here in the UK and Europe; hiding in plain sight under a banner that might sound reasonable at a casual glance, like 'gender critical feminists' or something.

Er, just because you don't like gender critical feminists it doesn't mean you can make this sort of weird fucking allegation about them.

Apple, Disney and other companies are willing to pay travel expenses for anyone who wants abortion in another state?

and they might be prosecuted for assisting now....

I'm not a USian, but how would that work...? As far as I'm aware they've no rule there against travelling to a state and doing a thing that is legal in that state, even if it might be illegal in your home state.

Happy to be corrected of course, and with the fundy brigades out in force over Roe vs. Wade I'm sure we're going to have a lot more to come in this particular scenario.

They're working on it.

Missouri wants to stop out-of-state abortions. Other states could follow.

What an awful, awful day. What on earth comes next ? Outlawing contraception ?

I saw on the facebook that at least one judge is working on it :( - can't seem to find it right now.

However....

If a state tried anything like that, you'd just take it to the US Supreme Court and then...ah, shit!
