Doddy Wight and Badger Knight are genuine club legends and probably did more than 275 despite the shorter season then.
They sound like a duo straight out of a Streatham Rovers tweet.

There's a list of most post-war appearances that appeared at least once or twice every season season in the club programme (and another one of post-war goalscorers) while John Lawrence was editor, but I can't lay my hands on it right now. I know Reg Merritt holds the all time club record with 576 appearances during the 50s and 60s. I believe Horace Robbins and Lee Akers are the only others with more than 500, with Nyren Clunis close on 486.Would be genuinely interested - not in a continuing the row way just in a nerdy stats one - to know the number of games played for the club by players leaving. Suspect Sanchez would have the highest total since the leavers from the last promotion side…? And as you say I suspect hitting say 300 was much more common 10,20,30 years ago than now and it’d be interesting to see that. Is that publicly available anywhere?
He scored the first goal in the 5-2 win against Ebbsfleet two seasons ago, probably the best match seen at Champion Hill during our National South years, when they totally outplayed us for 45 minutes and we were hanging on 1-2 down at the break.Alfie Egan announced as joining after the match - Lewes made a fuss of signing him in the summer, but hadn’t made an appearance for them since they beat us in October.
Dwight Pascal joins Potters Bar. They should play him upfront on Saturday.Defender departs in search of regular game time https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/news/player-news--dwight-pascal-2827556.html
I'm sure there will be alternatives on Hak and Terry's radar who can be signed at short notice if necessary, especially at this time of year, including loanees from higher league clubs. By my reckoning we're now down to 23 registered players (from a high of at least 29 at one point) so there may already be one or two more training with our squad.Josh Okpolokpo the latest player to depart, leaving us with five defenders in the squad.

I don't like writing people off, but frankly I thought Okpolokpo looked like an accident waiting to happen each time I saw him.
Just have another look at the extensive Enfield highlights linked in the relevant match thread. He commits three blatant yellow card fouls, all crude late challenges, inside the first 55 minutes. (He gets away with the middle one because the referee plays an advantage that ends with a goalline clearance.) He also clearly handles a cross inside the box on the referee's blindside shortly before his dismissal and gets away with that too. Then he just stands there looking bemused at his red card, even though it was probably the easiest decision of the match for the referee.
Given the chance to redeem himself in the next match against Sporting Bengal, he was all at sea from start to finish in an embarrassing defeat. It simply wasn't an option to keep him in the team for Boxing Day after that.
I could hardly believe he started that LSC match after his disasterclass at Enfield. (I overlooked that fact that he'd have been suspended for the one after in any case.) Now we have no more cup games for fringe players or regulars. It's a waste of time complaining. Most managers do it these days, and they'll all tell you they picked a team capable of winning. But great of Hak and Terry to give him another game in our final cup competition.
I seriously would rather we took the LSC seriously and played fringe players in FA Cup & Trophy if there is a keenness to still use cup games for fringe players.
I'm only guessing but I would imagine those who were announced before the first pre-season games (e.g. Gyebi, Scarlett, Tumkaya) are more likely to have been under contract, while those who were triallists until the league games started (e.g. Pascal, Jallow, Lovatt) won't have been. Ruddy wasn't announced until we'd received international clearance, but it looks like he relocated especially to play for us. Now he's back in Scotland after hanging around while 3 other keepers started games, so he was probably under contract. Pingling was a bit of a wildcard signing, a relatively inexperienced 24/25 year old who dropped out of pro football as a youngster, stopped playing totally for a couple of years then worked his way back from county league level, but we seemed keen to keep him before the end of pre-season so who knows.Getting him (and others) off the books suggests we're lining up others to come in but needing to free up some money first although not sure of the recent departures were contract or non-contract.
Richard Pingling has announced he’s left on Twitter. Down to two out-and-out strikers, combined age of 67.
As I am told he announced this without speaking to the club & manager it’s not something that anybody could prepare for and, until another club wants to sign him, he will still be registered to the club. If another Isthmian club wants to sign him I’m sure we will require them to give 7 days notice as is the requirement for non contract players. There will also be the need for him to return club property. It’s not as simple as just announcing it on X.Will this get any recognition on the brand new website/Twitter feed?
Ojemen was substituted at Bognor after 77 minutes, with what was reported as a knock at the time, and he appeared to be limping slightly on the video of the players walking around the pitch after the final whistle. A month on loan at this stage of the season takes you beyond the transfer deadline, which is tomorrow. Therefore it's much the same as a permanent transfer unless the player is already contracted for next season, which few are at Steps 2 and 3. I guess being under the age of 24 he would have been subject to a transfer fee requirement if he'd been offered a new contract and declined.Bit more on Peter Ojeman's move from Kent Online:
Striker Destiny Oladipo and defender Peter Ojemen have left Dover for Isthmian Premier clubs Margate and play-off chasing Dulwich, respectively. On their departures, [Jake] Leberl explained: “Dulwich came in for Peter on loan. I said to him ‘Do you want to play for a month on loan? He asked whether he could go permanently". Destiny wanted more game time, which we couldn’t promise or offer him. We wish them both well in their futures.”
Not sure why Ojeman didn't play any part last night. I assume he must have picked up a knock in the win at Bognor.
