The new love in my life, 1991 Tennessee Rose. Real f-holes (some models have painted-on ones), ebony fingerboard and tone pot as opposed to a mud switch.

Takes a bit of getting used to, esp after a Les Paul, but now I can't imagine how I used to get by without one.

And, of course, it's got THE Gretsch sound.

Absolute beaut gnoriac. Heres my current belle

I learnt to play on an ibanez rg and never really played any other guitar for about 12 years. I got some tax money back and bought the Jag last year and basically had to learn how to play on a neck that wasn't flat and was about 3 inches shorter!

The ultimate guitar (in terms of Spinal Tap epic silliness):

While, for the traditionalists among us:

I've had my Jag for about 10 years now. I love her dearly and she is very versatile. She is in dire need of a service as life in the tropics is not so good for chrome and wood (rust and warping) :(.
Once I leave here I will get her sorted out but I'm considering getting some sort of Gretch too as I'm really heading down that road at the moment. As for the size of Jag's. I prefer the smaller neck. I'm thinking it's my laziness. I wish I had bought a concert size acoustic when I had the chance rather than the jumbo monster I bought instead.

You wait till I get a Tru-arc on her! ;)

I will get one. When I bought my Jag I was torn between that and a Gretch. I was toying with the model old wass-is-face from the Beatles played, but now I'm all out for a massive gert thing like yours. Probably my next 'guitar'.

Well if you want robust, a Tenny is a pretty good choice. Weighs far more than any other semi I've ever tried.

i doubt it would pass muster with anyone who knows anything about guitars, but fuckit, i have a new love in my life :)

Similar to the one that Kane Roberts used to play in Alice Cooper's band in the '90s, except that yours looks a bit lighter/smaller bodied.

E2A: Personally I find the Fernandes Nomad bass to the left more tempting. :)

Actually that's not mine, I couldn't be bothered to dig out a photo, and it's still at my brothers place so I can't take a photo.
Mine looks very similar but does not have the orange scope thing. It's also made by a well shit cheap arse guitar company so would not be selling anywhere for 80,000 yens.

3-a-side headstock, or 6-in-a-row?

Yuck! More a 14-y-o's masturbation aid than a guitar. Still this is the guitar porn thread. :)

I thought it was amusing and would at least be neat for pictures. It only cost £70, and is supposed to sound 'terrible' which is usually a good thing, I have too many 'nice' guitars.
