Refurbed Plan B / Phonox

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago after seeing LCD Soundsystem at Lovebox. We got in about 12.30am and it was pretty quiet but filled up around 1am and was busy until about 3am.

Nice bar area downstairs with some tables/booths and large bar across the back of the main room. Easy to get served and reasonable drink prices for a club - £5 for a GnT; £5 for a beer. Entry was £10. Very friendly staff.

Crowd was pretty mixed earlier on but seemed to get more studenty later. No idea what type of music it was (I am well out of touch) but soundsystem was superb and lights good too.

We were the oldest in there by about 10 years

It's a real shame that Plan B didn't put on more live band gigs when it was going. It could have been a brilliant small live gig as the sound there was incredible. And the DJs had their own fridge for beers!
