Last time I was unemployed, you could walk into an office of Blue Arrow, or Reed etc, and get a placement (temp) within a few days.
These places no longer exist in physical locations (and I get why) but where are all those admin support/ temp jobs listed now? I'm looking at Reed online, Monster etc, but they all seem to be longer-term things.
I use runthecheck, LinkedIn, artsjobs etc for my search for permanent work, but am very much in need of a 'got two weeks work in Streatham doing data entry for minimum wage' type stuff so I can get the rent sorted each month.
Any pointers?
