Receptionist sent home from work for not wearing high heels

As a former H&S advisor I always thought heels in the office were not suitable footwear and should be banned. Slips, trips and falls hazard.

Not least because of all the women stealing plasters from the first aid kits.

Or using plasters form the first aid kits perhaps, unless you think they were selling them on for a profit?
The first one is using. Grabbing a handful for later is stealing.

Especially when it's not being used for an accident but for new shoe hurties. Surely it's your responsibility to buy plasters for that.
Of course if you are caught out its only kind of the office to let you have a plaster to ease your hurt. But not to fund your entire plaster usage cause by your choice of fashion foot wear.

These are the thoughts that swirl around in your head?

unless you're forced to wear high heels by your agency no ?

I am. I wouldn't liquidate them for the high heels thing, I'd just make them wear heels for a month. Educational punishment. But the tax thing means only death, you stole from the people. You perverted the democratic proccess in order to do so. Take them down. To the vets
Make the cunts dress like this.

What did Waterhouse do that their initial gets written small case? Once accidentally kind to a peon?

Yes and that's been the case for many years. When was gromit giving H&S advice?
Wrong.

Employers may wish to refer to British Standard BS 8599 which provides further information on the contents of workplace first-aid kits.

Assorted adhesive dressings are still the standard. Hypoallergenic are recommended and not because of latex (that's the gloves you idiots) but because of the glue (which some can be allergic to).

Well, I've never trained in H&S or been an advisor but everywhere I worked after I returned to work from having children, insisted no plasters in first aid kits.
Mind you, even if there had been plasters in there, I can't imagine why you think women would be stealing handfulls of them. Don't you like women?

A friend's temping at KPMG in reception. While she doesn't have to wear heels (and doesn't), she does have a very set script she has to follow with people coming in. So she needs to ask about their journey, bemoan their travel woes and all kinds of other nonsense. The worst bit apparently is that she has to feign interest in all this inane bollocks. Saying that, she's an actor so should hopefully look reasonably convincing while she does so.
