I bought AMOK and Push the Sky Away on vinyl and limited edition CD this week

I'm Spotifying it before buying, because I wasn't that mad on The Eraser (bar the title track).

Incidentally, I love the way Sasha works The Eraser into Involver 2. Wish this was a mix you could get separately.

Moments of genius surrounded by endless seas of blandness

Weirdly my fave tune I've discovered this week is a Huntley breakcore radiohead remix

Anyone tried the Polyfauna app yet? It just reminds me of a k-hole... Kept me entertained for a while this evening. At one point I was physically going around in circles chasing the red dot.

In Rainbows was their last album I listened too. Still do sometimes.

I thought I was the only one left using minidisc :D Poor Thom. I've had a lot of shit for owning mine over the years now he's gonna know how it feels :(

"This is what you'll get when you mess with us." :D

Had a bit of a skip through earlier and there's a really good 'True Love Waits' on it. I'll wait for someone else to do the highlights before I go any further though. There's 18 hours of it! :D

This :D

Shame they didn’t split it down into individual songs rather than one track per disk.
If the weather's crap this weekend I'll see how much I get through. Just had a go at one of the later ones (Disc 15 I think) and they must've been near to completion by then because 'Let Down' is the one off the finished record, I think. It doesn't fade out as quick but that's it. Imo anyway. We need Firky to confirm really of course. He knows his stuff on this.

Um, this seems like a really good response to the hacker but how do you listen to it? Sorry if that’s a really dumb question

Yeah, bandcamp.
I love that Thom Y said "its not v interesting"! I had it playing some more yesterday in the background, it's like an aural version of looking at an artists sketchbook, v interesting if you like that sort of thing.
An 18 hr OK Computer.

Amnesiac and/or Kid A are usually my favourites, but it's pretty subjective and does change occasionally.

I'm about 2 hrs in, It's like they turned up and rehearse in yer kitchen.
I'm just finishing the first disk and very much this

I actually quite like that it's one track rather than individual songs, it makes you listen to it all rather than skipping to the stuff you recognise.

Heard Lianne La Havas' cover of Weird Fishes on 6 Music this morning. It's pretty good, though not as good as the original and not as good as Robert Glasper's take on Reckoner either.
