My dad's just ended up with pneumonia in Rochdale Infirmary. From memory, Pennine Trust has made the most payouts for fucking patients up of any trust in the country. Probably a good news/bad news scenario...

I'm not stroppy, I just hate sloppy thinking, and most of all I hate it when people say something is "like fascism" or"not very far from fascism" when any sensible analysis gives such hyperbole the lie. If you misuse the word as the poster I was being "stroppy" with did, you end up with a word that although it should only be used to describe a particular unpalatable politics, ends up being used to describe just about anything the user finds unpalatable.
