Had pizza for lunch today. The 'person' on the next table had a ham/pineapple with chips, mustard and bbq sauce.

Im surprised people are unaware of coleslaw and pizza. Coleslaw is served in most pizza restaurants. Indeed that tub came with my pizza order last night. It’s described as a “side”, but practically speaking, unless your table is huge, it’s you know, going on top.

Same with chips. Round these parts pizzas are sold by people who also sell chips. It didn’t take long for customers to realise the combination was ace. I’ve known about it all my life. (I’m 55. These are all my own teeth). Double carb. It’s a thing. Like macaroni pie. Black bun (fruit cake pie). Chip roll.

The culinary norms on these boards are depressing.

A margherita in the same place was 3.5 Euro and a large (660ml) bottle of Peroni 2.5 Euro.
