Pizza toppings suggestions

Olives are fruits and capers are a flower bud, biologically speaking.Them big old caper berry things are fruits.
Just because we salt them and brine them doesn't make the vegetables. We do that to anchovies, and they're not vegetables, either.

I use onions, garlic, balsamic vinegar, a tin of plum toms, salt & pepper for my pizza base. Bubbles for a while and thickens and then I attack it with my stick blender.

Spinach florentine perhaps for topping? Maybe a touch of goat's cheese? And an egg on it or is that de rigeur for florentine?

Wrong I'm afraid
Me & Badgers rarely see eye-to-eye on pizzas, but I'm afraid in this instance the man is spot on. As a veggie I can attest to the supreme all round greatness of the humble mushroom, invaluable in multitudinous roles, but no more so than on pizzas.

Oh for the love of god - FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS THREAD they're both veg. Fruits are a subset of vegetables anyway.

We made pizzas tonight, what a coincidence :)

pepperoni, jarred red peppers, onion, spinach, tomato, mozarella and parmesan.

(mine on the left, then my son's - very symmetric pizza, maybe he'll be a chef - then my husband's on the far right)
