I absolutely love shiny things of all styles. Jewellery, arty lamps, Schwartzkopf, marbles etc. I find them very therapeutic.

There's a new "Black" called Musou black, it's the blackest black yet created - it absorbs something like 98% of all light falling on it

This company has paint a car with it - it's a peelable paint - and they've put sparkles into it

Fast forward to the "reveal" when they show the car painted outside in sunshine - the black is amazing and the sparkles just pop

Looks good, and I for one can see no issues with painting a car with light absorbing paint...
 
Because most of the ones in Museums have flown, and then been through re-entry, its easy to forget the Apollo spacecraft were shiny.
