positive thinking people, positive thinking:cool:

I think it's working mate...Full BBC forecast out now and Sunday looks ok

Only Friday and Saturday to sort out now.

<thinks positive thoughts>

I've just worked out why the weather isn't looking good.
It's on the wrong weekend.
It was meant to be last weekend. The weather would have been ok.
But they went and messed with the dates...

Don't suppose anyone can help with a lift for two from Oxford to the festie on Friday coming back Sunday night? there don't seem to be any trains back :(

hmm - logical, but nowhere near enough POSITIVE THINKING in that post... if it rains now I might even blame you:p ;)

I'm thinking about leaving my waterproofs behind so i've got extra room for more shorts coz it's gonna be sunny as fuck all weekend (plus they have big marquees, and bin bags in case of rain)

using reverse psychology wouldnt it be better to bring all your waterproofs and then it will be sunny?

i'll just settle for the weather not being arse..

can the weather not be arse please?

I don't even want sun, I'll just settle for weather that doesn't feel like one of the 7 plagues of bloody egypt, thats all

Well, we've gone from showers to heavy showers on saturday and lost our sun behind the thick cloud on BBC. I'm in a tipi but I really hope the arenas arent muddy........

No it won't:p
In tents, tipis and on grass yes, regardless of how much it rains, but not in mud:mad:

OMFG it looks like it's going to rain enough to wash away the entire site tomorrow morning.
I'm so glad I now have para boots and waterproof shrouding :D
I hate mud.
I hate damp camping.
It's going to be well weapon...

It's looking pretty disastrous!
Hoping to arrive for the tail-end of the flooding...
My tent's already been put up with my sleeping bag and a few bits and pieces, I really really hope that stays relatively dry otherwise my food budget is going to have to go on a new sleeping bag :(
But, really :D as well.
Festival survival, here we come!

if there's room in the car i might even bring a spare - huge - tent for the people who've brought pencil case tents from Woolies :D

You sir, are a king amongst men!
My tent's done me alright for 8 years, but it's never seen rain like this
I quite like the notion of a big-ass communal tent actually!
Wooo, just got to finish my work and I can go. Yayzers

well me and ouchmonkey were going to share it - it's a 2 room 4 man tent. but we're both old and want to use our mattresses, and the rooms aren't quite big enough so we're bringing separate tents, hence a spare big fucker.
we could put it up and use it as a lounge :)

A lounge!!!
Damn, that is style.
I will give you a buzz a bit later when I have an ETA.

ok - we're biding our time, ouchmonkey only recently passed his test and doesn't understandably fancy motorway driving in a storm
