Three cheers for his ban!

The guy was a self-avowed fascist. And in the context of a bulletin board he acted like one. Sure, he couldn't crack heads here but he did his best to stifle any discussion by posting massive screeds of - let's be frank here - unsourced utter lies. That was his job here. Whether it was one he took upon himself or performed for some agency or other I don't know.

Anyway, good fucking riddance to bad rubbish

He was banned for promoting fascism I believe, shortly after I reported this thread for his constant racist attempts to denigrate Palestinians - I don't know if my reporting it helped him get the push, but I'd like to think so :)

Aye – good on ya, and good to see the racist spambot shoved off the edge of the cliff. It’s thanks to scum like him and the toxic ideology of hatred that they promote that people continue to needlessly die in the Middle East conflict. The “Solidarity with Rachamim18 Committee” over on the other thread are also a disgrace – predictably an assortment of trolling bastards and running dogs for yanqee Imperialismino. Three words: carpet bomb them flat.

It'll be interesting to see whether a replacement for Rach shows up or not. If he was operating in cooperation with anyone I suspect they'll want to keep this place closed down as a forum of any worth for discussing Is/Pal issues and another bot will be along before long

You see, at first, I tried to debate with Rach18 as I would with anyone else posting about an issue I'm interested with, but it became apparent after a while that, intentionally or not, his posting here was having the effect of eliminating any valid discussion of the Middle East. Some posters are just too hot headed to ignore him or not take him seriously and as a result, very little gets debated. I mean, how many threads in the Middle East forum did Rach18 cause a major stir simply by posting in? Answer: 100%. I'm glad he got banned, not because I disagree with his views (I do, but that's not a reason for me wanting someone banned), but because now hopefully it'll free those hot headed posters up to have real debates over the Middle East.

However, as you say, perhaps somebody will get the call on their Megaphone™ and come to spoil the party?
