Nine Bob Note's Birthday Honours :: Greatest DETECTIVE/POLICE Show NOMINATIONS

Oh well, an IMDb rating, fair enough, no one could ever argue with that. Montalbano was dire, but we'll see the proof of that when the voting happens.

(Although it is true that Richie Brockleman was actually pretty poor too)
it's very strange you take issue with montalbano but see nothing wrong with murder she wrote or randall and hopkirk (deceased). very strange.

Ah, come on. I know somebody must have :D

Morse was brilliant.

Sherlock...all of them...old and new.

Ms Marple the series with Joan Hickson.
And Margaret Rutherford also, as she......
Poirot...but only David Suchet's version...

Inspector Linley...

Wallander is brilliant...the one with Kenneth Brannagh...

murder she wrote
randall and hopkirk (deceased)

Randall and Hopkirk with Cope and Pratt (both deceased), not Reaves and Mortimer.

Also McCloud - New Mexico sheriff and horse investigating and copulating whilst on transfer to New York, staring Denis Weaver who it seems was also an all-round, jolly good egg.
