Marble Arch is going to get a hill and it's going to be called The Mound

No respect for history. Should either be the Banqueting House or the Tower.
surely 416 years after the gunpowder plot was exposed and its proponents so cruelly executed the time has finally come to allow the nefarious scheme of fawkes and co to proceed, and to render the horrendous cost of refurbishing the palace of westminster redundant.

Are so you are one of those sheeple who still believes the MSM that Fawkes and co were responsible. Wattle and daub wouldn’t have burnt at that temperature. False flag, wake up…

Despite it being underwhelming it is still a great time to visit London. Things are open (just) and there are no tourists.
London was pleasantly quiet last weekend from what I saw. Busy enough to not feel deserted but quiet enough to not feel harassed which I usually do.

Took a walk round it this afternoon. It did seem to be open but there was nobody actually on it (apart from staff). There were a lot of tourists wandering around the edges with expressions saying "what the fuck is this".

The building site attached to it is larger than the mound, and goes all the way to the fountains at the end. I'm sure the effect of evicting all the rough sleepers there was entirely coincidental.

Apparently, there is a lift.
Yep - the walkways are all stairs from what I saw so you'd just be taking the lift up and then down again. I hope there's a significant discount for that.

Actually calling it "the mound" officially is kind of pre-nicknaming it.

Never mind that Edinburgh got-in first, the best part of two hundred and fifty years ago:
