Manchester United 19/20: You can't win anything with kids (revisited)

Sky are doing their best to make it sound like there’s been trouble. They just said ‘there’s been ugly scenes outside the Lowry where a flare was thrown’

Literally showed a flare go over the line of coppers’ heads and land on a floor whilst there was nobody around.

Hope those reporters never go to Milan or Turkey!
Yep, Sky were so obsessed with pushing the violence line, particular their anchor who was manic. They'd have reported any instances they'd had in great detail. I also wonder if they were shifting the clips round to make it look like there was a confrontation going on right up to an hour ago. They said the fans had been cleared away from OT a good while back, but then started showing clips of a stand off with a few plastic bottles that looked to be right outside the ground. :hmm:

No punishment could be enough for this sort of sour sour grapes. :D

Well done Citeh!

I hear on the sour gapevine that Liverpool are to be given the three points for tonight's hooliganism. United should be docked nine points and forced to play next season in the Copydex Premium League.

They might have a chance of winning that with the baby faced assassin in charge. :p

No, he's just being a twat

No he's just having a bit of a ribbing, you know as we do about things such as football and the like. He's a Scouser too so you shouldn't be suprised about him having a laugh about it, touch of rivalry there I hear. Deep down I bet he's impressed.

Thanks for the explanation

Well let's be honest, as much respect as I've got for today's protest. And the history of your club and aura surrounding it. We have been teaching you a thing or two (explanations - if you like) for going on 6-7 years now.

I mean, I'm glad you recognise the aura surrounding Bristol Rovers but I'm not convinced that we're entirely relevant to the discussion mate

Well MotD gave it pretty well a full half hour but no slow-motion replays :(.

Good coverage I thought - can't expect them not to condemn the police injuries there'd have been calls for the licence fee to be scrapped if they hadn't. Good question to the ManU supporters' bod - what is it that the fans are aggrieved about?

And liked the Bale hat trick

Fucking strange decision not red card for treading on that bloke's head  cunt even looked down as he was doing it.

Still think football supporters and communities have to put allegiance aside for some things. I find debt-levereged ownership sickening. Paying them for what?

Liverpool team. coach currently blocked in on a side road and has had its tyres let down. Tho it might be the team coach with the actual team on….

The Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Manchester United players drove themselves to the stadium and that two team buses did dummy runs between their own hotel and the stadium in a bid to throw off protesters.”
