Madonna falls over at the Brits

I liked this idiocy from the BBC:

You may have wondered why there was no gasp of shock from the O2 crowd as Madonna took her backward tumble.

Well, sitting way up in the balcony seats among some of Madonna's biggest fans - the type who know and sing along with every lyric - the initial thought was that it may have been a particularly well orchestrated dance manoeuvre.

Yeah right, never mind the nature of the fall, the fact she stopped singing for a couple of seconds, leaving the backing track in play, wasn't enough to demonstrate that this wasn't a planned part of the show

Was this dude seen in the vicinity at any point during the song?

Y'know when I hear about super pop stars like Madonna (and I worship Mads) denying fans like that enjoying her music it makes me glad she fell over

tbf she didn't just fall over, whoever it was that was pulling her cape back simply overdid it and yanked her off the steps onto her backside .. I dare say words would have been spoken after the show!

She didn't roll and took the brunt on her arse ......from the height of her heels and step. Ouch ...

Then straight back into it.. A tough ol' bird.......worth a round of applause ......even though the song is shit .!
Absolutely, her songs are dreadful these days but that was hard as nails, falling on your arse can really hurt!

Heh ...capegate......unemployment stats are going to increase by one dancer and designer...maybe even a dresser too ?

The Brits was pretty fail all round. Cringeworthy comedy from Ant & Dec, an exceptionally crap performance from Kanye West made even worse by ITV trying (and failing) to bleep out every time he said the n word. And the usual haul of major label artists getting the accolades. And Madonna falling over is the biggest news story to come out of it.. how boring.

Madonna has a case, those steps didn't have a bannister rail, where there is blame there is a claim!

Have YOU had an accident that wasn't your fault at an awards ceremony, or just when you're out and about being a Pop Legend?

Call us today!!

(Then a vox pop with Limahl about how he got nearly £3000 off a scaffolding company after a roof tile nearly hit him on the toe)

Took my wife to see her at Murrayfield, having mashed up her "hits" and mainly played songs off her latest album in an effort to seem current, wasn't much love for her in that audience.
Shame. Saw bob Dylan at some Irish festie in North London with Badgers and he was shite for similar reasons. Well I thought he was shite anyway.
