Lunch should have its own thread

Chicken and grated beetroot thingy wrapped in seaweed stuff with a small salad, Pret yoghurt with granula and dried fruit, 4 biscuits. So much for my resolution to eat less

*pats belly* too much lunch but feels niiiice

Ham and egg mayo butty on thick brooon bread
Big back Walkers chicken crisps
A Double-Decker cos they were selling packs for a quid in the co op

*burp*

camenbert (sp?) cheese and bits of salad (brought from home) in a seeded roll from sainsburys. Yum. Chopped carrot, cellery and green beans from boyf's bean plant. Yum. And a clementine.
And currently being made a cup of tea now as well. Hopefully my saintly eating will last. At least til tomorow...:hmm:

It was going to be a pot of noodles in shrimp soup, but I couldn't resist the veggie quiche and samosa ..
I'm going for a 20 mile ride on the way home, so I'll have a flapjack in a bit ...

Leftover lamb dhansak & pilau rice from Friday (will I die etc etc) plus a portion of Thai pork curry from the freezer. Not sure how they're going to go together but time to empty the freezer so its mix and match time.

Chinese chicken with peppers, water chestnuts and spring onions in chilli sauce.
Pitta bread on the side as I had no rice.

Marks and Sparks Spelt, Roasted Carrot and Goats Cheese salad.

I was there to buy socks...

And couldn't resist having the Nutty grain and vegetable salad too - with soy and ginger sauce.

Coriander leaves in it which I don't like, but not overwhelming

Both of these highly recommended - £3 for the two.

leftover roast chicken, fried in chipotle sauce and lime juice with chopped peppers and red onion
in two tortillas, with coriander/yoghurt sauce, chopped olives, chopped pickled jalapenos and grated cheese

so good, I resurrected the lunch thread

Boooooooooooooooom!

broke habit and had lunch today

bacon and egg bap from a suitably gressy cafe round the corner from work

lush and nom nom nom

has anyone tasted these new caramal kitkats..:hmm: That was my desert for lunch - someone gave me theirs they'd been given free. I do wish they'd stopped messing with chocolate. Caramel kitkat is wrong and bad

The peanut butter kitkats are more addictive than crack nicotine.

Not particularly brilliant curry in Brick Lane Brasserie. £7.95 for starter, main course and nan, stuffed, (me not the nan) Nice company tho.....

OH MAN two packs of MandS battered scallops, because they were half price, and I needed to waste 10 mins in town before going somewhere so went to MandS.

JESUS I am so full of battered scallop. And dirty, dirty barbeque sauce.

Oh god I feel as if my innards may rupture from a surfeit of scalloprey.

e2a: and now I feel sick. I'm hoping this is the grease and my ill-acquaintance with batter, rather than them being on the cusp and discounted. I am *not keen* on getting a massive dose of shellfish poisoning whilst Artichoke is not here to minister to my every whimper and whimsy.

hard boiled egg with some salad, apple, clementine, a danish pastry and half a Pret Love bar. Feel slightly ill. Work boredom makes me crave food constantly, regardless of hunger, stomach pains, anything really.
