Lunch should have its own thread

LOL @ bonto :D

I've just had my dinner for lunch :hmm: ....well the veg soup with grated cheddar bit at least....so dinner might be wine and garlic bread now :D

Not sure. We have scraps to graze on but I want something hearty. Just can't put my finger on what. I am considering making a pizza :hmm:

I might have scampi, chips and peas  but it depends if I can be arsed to go and get the scampi out of the downstairs freezer :hmm:

Our freezer contains a tray of ice cubes and a small piece of parmesan :( I think that I may have to drag my arse to the shops.

Yeah but I'm RIGHT WITH YOU on the laziness today...struggling enough with the idea of having to go down two floors to the freezer, let alone to THE SHOPS!

*sympathy*

:(

I had a picnic lunch with the kids and some friends :) Surprisingly small amount of crap involved - lots of chopped up veg and organic yog (well, it was in Kingston :D).

Chicken sandwich
Egg on toast
Salami
Eta: no, that's for tea. I had no lunch save for cake and a few chips stolen from my godson

Fried onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, with brown rice stirred-in ... not sure what you would call it ...
'delicious', probably!

We ate up lots of bits that needed dealing with - griddled asparagus with lemon juice and parmesan, some little courgette pastries, tomato/pepper/olive/cornichon salad, garlic baguette.

I've had my lunch already because I'm home and bored.

Toasted ciabatta, mozzarella and salsa.

Brilliantly I ate this wearing a white vest. I even thought about changing but thought 'nah, even I can eat this without spillage'.

I now have tomato salsa and olive oil down a vest I've been wearing for less than an hour. : o
Fucksticks.

I have almost run out of mushrooms, so it will be a compromise of garlicky mushrooms and spinach on toast and baked beans on toast.
