Lunch should have its own thread

Charred tenderstem with black beans, avocado, red onion, peanuts, garlic, chilli and limes. Traybake out of the Quick Roasting Tin book. Would normally pooh pooh avocado but it came free with Oddbox so might as well eat it. Will have with brown rice.
Leftovers of this 😍

Tangerine and a plum.

Toasted seedy homebaked wholemeal, olive spread, dark roasted chunky peanut butter, half a tub of Yeo vanilla bio yoghurt, and a plum.

Veggie tagine, no rice because otherwise it would mean eating brown rice twice in a day.

Half a big tub of vanilla bio yoghurt and a plum.

Very very naughty brunch! Cus I'm very very naughty and isolating and this is a comfort brunch....
Home made fluffy American pancakes, streaky bacon, toulouse sausages and maple syrup and a stonking cup of aero pressed coffee with hot oat milk and brown sugar.....

My go to, healthy lunch

Swahili chicken hotpot .

Basically boiled chicken with boiled peppers, potatoes cabbage and carrots and a light chicken broth

I’ll stop being ignorant and google the correct name for it…….

kuku Mchemsho

I'm in the process of perfecting my channa dal + tarka thing and the one I had just now was quite good. It's definitely in the balance of ginger and garlic, with their interaction in the food depending on how permeable and soft the dal is. Any tips gratefully received.

It was a post about the calorific value of your lunch that I decided was a bad idea. If it's any compensation it sounds amazing.
Yeah heavy food for sure. Small portions. It's lasted me three days and is my only meal.
When I'm working I have two meals.

I am always looking for food like that tbf. If I have breakfast and one massive meal around 1pm then that's me for the day. I could probably skip breakfast too as long as I had a coffee.

Do you want the recipe? It takes 10 mins to prep and 25 minutes to cook.
