Lunch should have its own thread

Made a pot of carrot and lentil soup for in the week, but couldn't resist a bowl of it for lunch, with a fat slice of wholemeal bread laden with sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Lush homebaked sourdough bread, with a smattering of olive spread, chunks of caramelised onion and Rioja cheese, and some ale and mustard pickle.

Pota , which is part of the squid family normally the main bit cut into strips and fried in flour . Got it with chips and salad . Also ordered a mixed grill , chicken, pork belly , pork steak and sausage as a takeaway so I’ll have that for tea either during or after the Cup Final .
The Portuguese are big breakfast eater so lunch normally starts 12 noon.
