Lunch should have its own thread

Probe thermometer uggedts this should be getting pinker in very few slices.

The house veggie has, unfortunately, decided that she's veggie today. (Her recent comments on beef are the reason I bought it!)

So that's a lot of lunches for me and the toddler.

Edit: actually, w gravy, this is pretty fit. Basic, but fit. (Have some fantastic salads in the fridge. No, ta!)

Spuds look magnificent  but the beef looks a bit overcooked to me :(
Yeah. Would definitely rarify it next time.

Have the additional complication that the veggie only eats well done beef, so I'm usually trying to cook it hotter than I'd like to keep her happy. 63 degrees, internal. But it's looking better done than that.

A handful of frozen, pre-grilled Mediterranean veg, fried up and mixed with helda, green and broad beans. Falafel, seeds, oil and vinegar.

Eta: and a slice of cherry cake, for health.

Cup of tea. A very small apple. Baked cod loin, herby lemony quinoa and bulgur wheat salad, roast veg (courgette, mushrooms and yellow pepper), cherry tomatoes and torn up round lettuce. Cashew & date bar.

This again, only with the apple for pudding and the cashew crunch bar later on as a pre-gym snack.

mrs quoad (or anyone else - mrs q just seems like a good person to ask based on the meals he often posts) - I will have a good amount of cold roast beef left some time next week. I also have a load of vacuum-packed cooked beetroot. Ideas for nice lunches involving both of these things, please?
