MY FUCKING LUNCH HAS BEEN EATEN!!!

I brought in ¾ of a loaf this morning and, ok, that's gone. (Sliced and left out, but it's unusual for THAT mic to go).

I also had FOUR FUCKING SALADS in the fridge, from our pot luck thing on Monday. I sent round an email on Tuesday announcing that another colleague had left a salad for communal consumption but NOT TO FUCKING TOUCH MINE BC THEYRE MY LUNCH. CLEAR descriptions were provided of both untouchable and touchable salads.

Some fucker has cleared me out! Or some fuckers, more like! I'm without fucking salad, and without fucking bread! The fuckers.

Tell a lie, someone has stolen all the rocket and goat's cheese from the roast onion, rocket and goats cheese salad, and have left two roast onion wedges.

Fucking yay.

Two skinless chicken thighs and my own bodyweight in co op's 'bistro salad'.

Two hour lunch in The Eagle, Farringdon with my oldest mate and his wife. Roast pork, crackling, lentils and salsa verde and a proper catch up. A pint and then half a bottle of wine. Just wobbled back to my desk, nobody seems to have noticed

Tiny spuds, baked in the oven, with lovely Herby sausages, raw onion, pickled gherkins, mild mustard and cheese. Seemed pretty Germanesque and was utterly delicious.

I'll be doing that again.

Lemon meringue for dessert.
Feeling very fed.

I had a packet of Lidl's spicy prawn noodles with a couple of tinned sardines on top. It was lovely, but I have got the most guffiest arse in the universe now. Let a massive smelly one rip in the Co op before

Bacon sandwich in crusty white bread with ketchup and chilli sauce, with a cup of tea.

Haven't had it yet, but am really looking forward to it.

Never thought of putting hummus on toast. Do you butter the toast first, and does the warmth of the toast melt the hummus?

I can confirm that they don't just work - they are incredibly fucking lush. Just be careful not to burn your tongue

Hummus on wholemeal, with butter, is fit.

I was going to do sausages, roast new potatoes, veg & gravy but I've just made some broccoli, cauliflower & stilton soup to use up stuff in the fridge before we go away for a few days, and it's gorgeous. So I might just have that with some tiger rolls.
